• • As a Senior QA Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our Brink POS software. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test strategies that align with our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving restaurant growth. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving defects, thereby safeguarding the integrity and performance of our software.
• • This role involves leading all aspects of the team's testing efforts, from initial test strategy formulation to final execution and reporting. You will be responsible for assessing solution risks, collaborating with the project team to prioritize testing activities, and selecting and configuring appropriate toolsets to optimize the testing process. Your ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, adapt to changing requirements, and maintain meticulous attention to detail will be key to your success.
• • You will develop detailed testing approaches and plans for specific test areas or for the entire team, ensuring thorough coverage and traceability of requirements. This includes designing test cases for complex systems and executing a variety of testing types, such as functional, integration, and end-to-end testing, across diverse platforms including mobile, web, and portal frameworks.
• • A significant aspect of this role is the technical mentoring of junior team members. You will champion Agile best testing practices, sharing your knowledge and helping to build the skills of other members of the Quality Assurance team. This leadership extends to facilitating defect triage meetings, managing the overall defect resolution process, and conducting root cause analysis of identified defects to provide sufficient detail for replication and resolution.
• • Your responsibilities will also include designing test reporting and metrics that are tailored to project needs, producing clear and concise status reports, and ensuring that quality objectives and acceptance criteria are appropriately determined and met.
