- • Craft comprehensive and detailed test scripts to ensure quality standards are met for every user story across two small applications.
- • Provide clear pass/fail documentation for all product backlog items, including stories and tasks, ensuring full traceability and accountability.
- • Collaborate directly with stakeholders and the technical team to communicate test results, clarify functionality, and align on end-state expectations prior to sprint entry.
- • Apply agile methodologies to ensure testing activities are completed within each sprint cycle while maintaining strict adherence to timelines.
- • Recommend and implement QA best practices to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and overall product quality.
- • Navigate applications with proficiency to validate functionality, identify defects, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- • Conduct regular system quality audits and analyze system documentation to summarize existing functionality as it relates to project deliverables.
- • Author test scripts specifically designed for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate end-user readiness.
- • Review and analyze data and documentation related to system quality to support compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
- • Work autonomously as the lead for all quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.
- • Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey test outcomes via phone, web conference, and MS Teams.
- • Operate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and ensuring timely delivery of testing deliverables.
- • Support compliance with federal contract requirements by following all applicable quality assurance and documentation standards.
- • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, adapting testing approaches to varying scopes, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
- • Utilize ServiceNow App Engine for testing and quality assurance activities as required.
- • Ensure all testing activities are performed in compliance with DHS Public Trust clearance obligations and federal contract regulations.
🎯 Requirements
- • US Citizenship required
- • Active Public Trust Clearance (any agency)
- • Must be able to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance
- • Must reside in and perform work within the United States
- • 6+ years of experience in IT
- • 3+ years of experience testing all product backlog items and providing pass/fail documentation for each
