📋 Description

• Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at PTC Inc. plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of software that bridges the physical and digital worlds, directly enabling customers to innovate and operate more efficiently through cutting-edge industrial IoT and PLM solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced, reliable, and scalable automated test frameworks and test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing using modern tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and others, ensuring consistent and repeatable validation across complex software systems.
• Proactively explore and integrate AI/ML-powered tools and techniques to enhance test case generation, defect prediction, flaky test management, and result analysis, significantly improving testing efficiency and coverage while reducing manual effort and increasing release velocity.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases, own end-to-end quality of features by executing both manual and automated tests, and meticulously document, track, and verify defects to ensure high software reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct performance and load testing, analyze results using observability tools like Sumo Logic, New Relic, and Grafana, perform root cause analysis, identify system bottlenecks, and assist in troubleshooting complex production-like issues under realistic workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing using Jenkins and related tools, enabling seamless integration, rapid feedback loops, and continuous delivery of high-quality software in Agile sprints.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and grooming sessions; collaborate closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements, improve development processes, and advocate for quality throughout the software lifecycle.
• Set up and maintain test environments, including cloud-based infrastructures on AWS, Docker, Cloud Foundry, and Kubernetes, ensuring stable, reproducible, and production-parallel testing conditions.

• You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise-scale observability tools, advanced CI/CD pipelines, and microservices validation, while developing leadership qualities through technical mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of quality outcomes in a remote-first, Agile setting.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong, demonstrated focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc).
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum processes, and CI/CD principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with practical experience in analyzing performance test results and logs.
• Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written), capable of leading technical discussions and creating clear documentation in a global team setting.
