- • Serve as the primary strategic recruiter for Shield AI’s APJ region, driving end-to-end talent acquisition for engineering and commercial roles critical to international expansion.
- • Partner directly with senior leaders across APJ markets to understand business objectives and translate them into tailored, scalable hiring strategies that align with regional labor markets and cultural contexts.
- • Design and implement data-informed recruitment frameworks that improve time-to-hire, candidate quality, and diversity outcomes across high-demand technical and non-technical roles.
- • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates in APJ markets, leveraging deep knowledge of local talent ecosystems, universities, tech hubs, and industry networks.
- • Act as a consultative advisor to hiring managers, guiding them on market trends, compensation benchmarks, candidate expectations, and employer branding strategies unique to each APJ country.
- • Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior and specialized roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination across multiple time zones and legal jurisdictions.
- • Collaborate with global HR and talent teams to ensure consistency in hiring practices while adapting processes to comply with local labor laws and employment regulations in APJ countries.
- • Utilize ATS and recruitment analytics tools to track KPIs, report on hiring metrics, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- • Represent Shield AI at regional career fairs, tech meetups, and industry events to strengthen employer brand awareness and attract top-tier talent in defense-tech and autonomy sectors.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of APJ talent market dynamics, including competitor hiring practices, salary benchmarks, and emerging skill demands in AI, robotics, and aerospace engineering.
- • Proactively identify and engage with underrepresented talent pools to support Shield AI’s commitment to inclusive hiring across diverse APJ communities.
- • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, headhunters, and vendor partners to supplement internal sourcing efforts and scale hiring capacity during peak demand periods.
- • Provide regular feedback to global talent leadership on regional hiring challenges, candidate feedback, and market shifts to inform broader organizational strategy.
- • Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to Shield AI’s values, compliance standards, and ethical hiring principles, particularly in sensitive defense-tech contexts.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 7 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in high-growth tech or defense-related industries
- • Proven track record of recruiting senior engineering and commercial roles across APJ markets
- • Deep understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and cultural hiring norms across multiple APJ countries
- • Experience using ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) and recruitment analytics to drive data-informed decisions
