  • • Senior Recruiter (Contract) role at Up Labs Inc. focused on hiring world-class product, engineering, data, design, and business talent across studio/internal venture teams.
  • • Own full-cycle recruiting for Product, Engineering, Business & Growth, Data Science, and Design roles, including Lead/Manager/Director-level positions; partner with hiring managers to define requirements, scorecards, and hiring strategies.
  • • Build top-of-funnel pipelines using creative sourcing across LinkedIn, niche channels, outbound campaigns, talent communities, and warm networks; lead structured interviews and assessments to ensure consistency and high-quality bar setting.
  • • Navigate ambiguity in 0→1 environments where role requirements evolve rapidly; communicate candidate insights, market trends, and pipeline analytics to leadership to influence decision-making.
  • • Drive best-in-class candidate experience from first touch to close; maintain and optimize recruiting workflows, ATS usage, and operational processes for speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • • Represent the company brand externally by selling the mission, product vision, and venture studio model to attract top talent.
  • • Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-change environments; comfortable with context switching and managing competing priorities.
  • • Bring 6+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within startups, venture studios, incubators, accelerators, or software venture-building companies.
  • • Proven track record recruiting for technical roles (Software Engineering, Data Science/ML, Product, Design) and director-level leadership positions.
  • • Strong sourcing capabilities with proficiency in modern tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, etc.; exceptional communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
  • • Highly organized, operationally minded, and committed to process excellence; strong business acumen to understand how roles map to product, engineering, and GTM execution.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in startup, venture studio, incubator, accelerator, or software venture-building environments.
  • • Proven experience recruiting for technical roles (Software Engineering, Data Science/ML, Product, Design) and director-level leadership positions.
  • • Strong sourcing skills and proficiency with modern recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, or similar platforms.
  • • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-change environments with comfort in context switching and managing competing priorities.
  • • Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey insights and influence senior stakeholders.
  • • Highly organized and operationally focused with commitment to process excellence and workflow optimization.
