- • Lead all retail and commerce media investment across major retail media networks/platforms including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Criteo, Costco, and emerging global platforms, ensuring strategic leadership and operational excellence in a high-impact role that drives measurable business outcomes for Jellyfish’s clients.
- • Own end-to-end retail media investment with responsibility for budget allocation, pacing, forecasting, in-flight optimization, and financial accountability, while leading campaign execution and elevating strategic thinking, storytelling, and proactive growth planning across the team.
- • Establish structured retail media planning frameworks with clear KPIs, allocation logic, and integrated on-site/off-site strategy, standardizing forecasting and reporting methodologies to transform data into concise performance narratives that answer what is happening, why it is happening, and what we are doing differently.
- • Lead and develop a high-performing retail media team across planning, buying, and optimization functions, providing direct oversight of senior leads to ensure strategic ownership, quality control, and executive readiness while fostering a culture of proactive thinking, commercial acumen, and consistent “one voice” storytelling.
- • Partner closely with Business Planning & Analytics, media, and strategy teams to align retail investment with broader measurement and financial frameworks, support development of global playbooks, and strengthen integration across Retail Media, Investment, Analytics, Strategy, and Commerce teams to ensure scalable best practices and cross-functional alignment.
- • Serve as a senior commerce leader within Jellyfish and the broader Brandtech Group network, championing precision, accountability, and proactive problem-solving while codifying scalable retail media frameworks and governance standards that elevate the agency’s commerce capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of retail media or commerce media leadership experience with deep, hands-on expertise in Amazon Advertising and major retail media networks such as Target, Walmart, Criteo, and Costco.
- • Proven experience managing significant retail media budgets with strong financial discipline, including expertise in budget allocation, pacing, forecasting, and in-flight optimization driven by performance metrics like ROAS, TACoS, CPC, and incremental revenue.
- • Strong operational rigor across campaign structure, bidding strategy, targeting, testing rigor, and intentional use of automation, with the ability to translate platform signals into clear action plans and challenge assumptions around allocation and automation reliance.
- • Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex performance data into clear business guidance and elevate reporting from data summaries to concise performance narratives that drive forward-looking growth decisions.
- • Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing teams, including providing direct oversight of senior leads, ensuring strategic ownership, quality control, and fostering a culture of accountability, proactive thinking, and commercial acumen.
- • Comfort operating in executive and cross-functional environments, with experience partnering with Business Planning & Analytics, media, and strategy teams to align retail investment with broader financial and measurement frameworks.
