- ⢠As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Vanta, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and driving the evolution of accounting operations in a high-growth, remote-first environment.
- ⢠You will own complex revenue accounting areas including commission accruals and deferrals, revenue contract reviews, and revenue reconciliations, while also maintaining general ledger accuracy and supporting audit readiness.
- ⢠You will work cross-functionally with FP&A, Engineering, Billing Operations, Deal Desk, Business Systems, Legal, and People teams to bridge accounting rigor with operational excellence and support scalable financial processes.
- ⢠In this role, you will develop expertise in ASC 606 and ASC 340, lead process automation initiatives, and contribute to the scalability of Vantaâs finance function as the company expands globally.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
- ⢠4â7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a combination of public accounting and private industry experience considered a plus
- ⢠Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue accounting (ASC 606) and contract cost accounting (ASC 340)
- ⢠Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
- ⢠Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting business needs
- ⢠Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and comfort working with ERP systems such as NetSuite
- ⢠Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- ⢠Experience with close management tools and process optimization efforts
- ⢠Open to using AI responsibly to enhance efficiency and impact
