- • As a Senior Revenue Analytics Manager at Upside, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams and their strategic partners with critical analytics and actionable insights. This role offers broad exposure to our overall GTM strategy and deep dives into insight generation, working closely with Planning & Analytics team members and GTM leadership. You will report directly to the Manager, Revenue Analytics, while also maintaining dotted-line responsibilities to our Incentive Compensation Principal and Revenue Operations Principal, ensuring a holistic understanding of revenue drivers and operational efficiency.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of analytical and strategic functions:
- • **GTM Analytics Generalist:** Serve as a versatile analytics resource for the go-to-market organization, gaining comprehensive exposure to GTM strategy and insight generation through direct involvement in projects for Planning & Analytics team members and GTM leadership.
- • **Forecasting Support:** Actively support the revenue forecasting process, enhancing its effectiveness across Sales and Account Management functions. You will leverage existing forecasting models to deliver clear, repeatable weekly revenue and bookings forecasts, providing essential visibility for strategic planning and resource allocation.
- • **Reporting Ownership & First Line of Defense:** Own the analytical support and serve as the primary point of contact for reporting needs across various functional areas, including Partnerships, SMB, and Enablement. This ensures that critical teams have timely and accurate data to inform their daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- • **Dashboard Development & Maintenance:** Maintain, update, and develop sophisticated dashboards within Looker and Salesforce. These tools will be instrumental in facilitating the day-to-day activities of our customer-facing teams, enabling them to track key performance indicators such as meeting-to-opportunity conversion ratios and establishing benchmarks for weekly meeting volume per salesperson.
- • **Actionable Insight Generation:** Utilize advanced data analysis techniques and compelling storytelling to generate actionable insights for our customer-facing teams. Cultivate strong relationships with these team members to proactively anticipate their analytical needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- • **Pre-Sales Account Performance Estimates:** Provide accurate and timely pre-sales account performance estimates for the Restaurant and Grocery verticals, managing incoming requests efficiently and ensuring data integrity.
- • **Funnel & Productivity Analysis:** Analyze funnel performance, sales productivity metrics, and pipeline health to identify key opportunities for improving revenue organization efficiency and to inform critical strategic decisions that drive growth.
- • **Forecasting Model Enhancement:** Contribute to the continuous evolution and refinement of our forecasting models, focusing on increasing their ease of use, sophistication, and overall accuracy to provide more reliable predictions.
- • **Planning & Reporting Support:** Support annual and quarterly planning efforts for the RGTM organization as needed, with a particular focus on generating reports that assist sales and account managers in designing equitable and effective books of business.
- • **Rev Ops Partnership:** Collaborate closely with the Revenue Operations team to design processes and data capture mechanisms that ensure the delivery of necessary analytics within Salesforce and other BI tools, deriving insights directly from Salesforce data.
- • **Strategic Direction:** Contribute to shaping the future direction of the Revenue Analytics function by actively participating in the definition of core metrics, analytical priorities, and the development of scalable reporting frameworks that will support Upside's continued growth.
