  • • Hatch is seeking a highly skilled and customer-centric Senior Sales Engineer to be a pivotal technical leader within our Sales organization, guiding prospective clients through the entire pre-sales journey. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary technical authority and a trusted advisor, empowering potential customers to understand precisely how Hatch's cutting-edge AI platform can effectively address and resolve their most pressing business challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving technical discovery, crafting and delivering compelling product demonstrations that resonate with diverse audiences, architecting high-level solution designs, and expertly navigating clients through crucial stages such as evaluations, pilot programs, and rigorous technical validation processes.
  • • You will operate at the dynamic intersection of product innovation, technological advancement, and revenue generation. This position demands a professional who is not only comfortable engaging with senior-level stakeholders across various departments but also possesses a flair for storytelling through impactful demonstrations. The ideal candidate will masterfully balance deep technical understanding with the ability to articulate clear, tangible business value, ensuring that our solutions are perceived as indispensable assets.
  • • A core responsibility will be to partner closely with Account Executives, acting as the dedicated technical expert for mid-market and enterprise-level opportunities. This collaboration is key to aligning our AI platform's capabilities with the unique needs and strategic objectives of each prospective client, thereby removing technical obstacles and accelerating the sales cycle.
  • • You will lead in-depth technical discovery sessions, meticulously uncovering customer requirements, understanding their existing workflows, assessing their data environments, and defining clear, measurable success criteria. This foundational understanding will enable you to tailor product demonstrations that vividly illustrate Hatch's unique value proposition and effectively differentiate us from competitors in a crowded market.
  • • Designing and presenting sophisticated, high-level solution architectures will be a significant part of your role. This includes outlining potential integrations with existing customer systems and providing clear considerations for deployment strategies, ensuring a seamless and effective implementation path.
  • • You will provide essential support for technical evaluations, proofs of concept (POCs), and trials, diligently ensuring that all customer requirements are met and that the platform performs as expected, thereby building confidence and trust.
  • • A key aspect of the role involves adeptly answering complex technical questions related to our platform's APIs, data flow mechanisms, security protocols, and overall capabilities. Your ability to provide clear, accurate, and reassuring answers will be crucial in overcoming objections and advancing deals.
  • • You will act as a vital conduit between the field and our internal teams, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering departments. Your role will involve channeling valuable feedback from customer interactions back to product development, helping to shape the future roadmap, and ensuring you remain at the forefront of product capabilities and advancements.
  • • Furthermore, you will contribute to the preparation of critical sales enablement documents, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), addressing security questionnaires, and developing technical documentation that supports the sales process and builds customer confidence.
  • • Ultimately, you will be the go-to technical advisor for both technical teams and business leaders within prospective client organizations, guiding them through the complexities of the buying process and solidifying Hatch as their preferred technology partner. Your ability to build rapport, demonstrate technical prowess, and align solutions with business outcomes will be paramount to your success and the success of the sales team.
