- • As a Senior Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) at Checkly Group Inc., you will empower developers and engineering teams to ensure application performance and reliability from pull request to post-mortem by showcasing Checkly’s unified testing, synthetic monitoring, and observability platform.
- • You will become an expert on Checkly and the monitoring space, assist prospects with technical evaluations from first demo to successful implementation, own the pre-sales process, and share customer insights with Product and Engineering to shape the platform.
- • You will join a fast-growing, international DevTools SaaS company trusted by engineering teams at Vercel, LinkedIn, 1Password, CrowdStrike, and Render, backed by $20M in Series B funding from Balderton, CRV, and Accel.
- • You will work in a flexible, async-first, remote-first environment with ET or CT time zone alignment, with optional access to the NYC office, and contribute to improving technical documentation, processes, and policies while occasionally supporting Customer Support.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong technical skills to read, write, and debug code, with JavaScript/Node.js preferred.
- • Relevant experience in a Solutions Engineering role, ideally within a dev-tools SaaS environment.
- • Ability to use AI tools to accelerate customer-facing work, including researching prospect environments, generating tailored demo code, and building proof-of-concept repositories.
- • Exceptional empathy and curiosity, with a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset to build long-lasting partnerships with customers.
- • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- • Located in the US and able to work in ET or CT time zones.

- • Transparent salary with OTE ranging from $179k–208k (70% base + 30% commission) for US-based roles, up to $224k–260k OTE for US Tier 1 locations like NYC or Boston.
