- • Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer (freelancer) role at Valtech SE, a global experience innovation company partnering with world-leading brands to drive digital transformation through technology, creativity, and data. This role is critical in delivering complex, enterprise-grade Marketing Cloud solutions that power personalized customer journeys and marketing automation at scale.
- • Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement solutions including AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS/Javascript, SQL for data extensions and segmentation, Journey Builder custom activities, and REST/SOAP API integrations. Build scalable, maintainable systems aligned with enterprise standards while ensuring performance, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, consent management).
- • Translate business and marketing requirements into technical designs, contribute to solution architecture decisions, advise on integration strategies with CRM, Data 360, and third-party platforms, and identify risks early with mitigation proposals.
- • Act as a technical point of contact for clients during delivery, support project kick-offs, discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts, collaborate with architects, consultants, and project managers, and ensure quality through code reviews, documentation, and technical validation.
- • Support pre-sales activities by providing technical input for proposals and estimates, assist with demos and PoCs, and stay current with emerging Salesforce and mar-tech trends to proactively suggest innovations.
- • Work within Valtech’s borderless, global framework that enables seamless collaboration across international teams, fostering a values-driven culture of share, care, and dare, with opportunities for professional growth and impact on leading brands like L’Oréal, Mars, Audi, P&G, Volkswagen, and Dolby.
- • Develop deep expertise in enterprise Marketing Cloud implementations while strengthening client-facing communication skills, balancing technical depth with advisory capabilities, and growing as a trusted advisor in complex digital transformation projects.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8+ years of experience in an agency, consulting, or technology environment delivering complex Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations
- • Strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, AMPscript, SSJS, JS, SQL, and APIs
- • Solid understanding of marketing automation, data architecture, integration patterns, and experience designing/implementing integrations between Marketing Cloud and CRM, Data 360, and external systems
- • Ability to clearly explain technical trade-offs and design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working in large multi-disciplinary teams
