- • As a Senior Salesforce Tableau Developer with a sales focus at Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making within our expansive Salesforce ecosystem. This pivotal role sits within the Decision Support Center (DSC), a team dedicated to empowering associates with actionable insights to drive success. You will be at the forefront of transforming how our sales teams understand and leverage data, directly impacting pipeline management, opportunity execution, and overall business growth.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy advanced Tableau dashboards and embedded analytics experiences. These solutions will be meticulously crafted to support critical sales activities, providing real-time visibility into pipeline health, account behavior, and the effectiveness of sales strategies. You will translate complex business questions into clear, intuitive analytical frameworks, guiding sales professionals to focus their efforts on the most impactful actions at the opportune moments.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves acting as a thought partner for sales leadership. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Sales Enablement, Strategy, and other key stakeholders to deeply understand performance drivers and identify opportunities for improvement. By communicating analytical findings with clarity and conviction to both technical and non-technical audiences, you will enable confident, data-informed decision-making across the entire sales organization.
- • You will also be responsible for engineering high-quality, scalable, and robust analytical solutions. This includes integrating and transforming data from a variety of enterprise systems, such as Salesforce, Azure Synapse, and Databricks, to power sophisticated analytical models and dashboards. Close collaboration with Power BI developers and other DSC teammates is essential to ensure platform alignment, maintain governance consistency, and architect scalable solutions that can grow with the business.
- • Championing data quality, security, and best practices will be a core tenet of your work, ensuring the integrity and reliability of all Salesforce-embedded analytics. You will play a key role in translating existing CRM Analytics (CRMA) content into enhanced Tableau experiences, focusing on improving clarity, usability, and overall business impact.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how thousands of associates prioritize their actions and achieve greater success. You will be empowered to drive real business outcomes by directly influencing how sales teams engage with prospects and close deals. Furthermore, you will have the chance to grow your skills by leading embedded analytics within Salesforce, expanding your expertise in predictive analytics, and contributing to the development of the next generation of sales intelligence tools.
- • Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company with a rich history since 1953, is committed to building better infrastructure, homes, and businesses. We pride ourselves on making our customers' complex projects simple, successful, and sustainable. As part of our team, you will contribute to a culture that proactively solves problems, adapts to change, and continuously serves our customers, communities, and each other. You will build a career you are proud of at a company you can believe in, joining a community of proud associates who operate with a shared purpose.
- • The Decision Support Center team is a collaborative, forward-thinking group that values curiosity, innovation, and practical execution. We are dedicated to solving meaningful business problems and making analytics accessible, intuitive, and actionable for everyone. You will be part of a team that believes data should empower people to act with confidence, elevating performance and accelerating decision-making across the enterprise.
- • Your impact will extend beyond individual projects; you will help transform how Ferguson utilizes data to empower associates and enhance customer outcomes. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, analytics strategy, and sales performance enablement, and who is eager to influence strategic business decisions through insightful data analysis and compelling visualization.
- • The position is open to remote work across the United States, with a preference for candidates able to work East Coast working hours. Hybrid options are also available out of Ferguson's corporate offices in Newport News, VA.
