- • As a Senior Scientist Clinical Research at Abbott Laboratories, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in nutrition and clinical science, translating complex research into credible product claims, scientific messaging, and educational content that directly support Abbott Nutrition’s business strategies and innovation pipeline in the LATAM region.
- • You will drive evidence generation through clinical research design, secondary data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring scientific excellence across Abbott’s nutrition portfolio while representing the company at scientific forums and with key opinion leaders.
- • You will build and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders (medical affairs, product development, commercial, regulatory) and external partners (KOLs, customers, consumers) to align science with business goals and enhance product credibility.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering science-based presentations and training materials for global teams, developing product monographs, white papers, and peer-reviewed manuscripts, and conducting competitive surveillance to inform innovation and claims substantiation.
- • You will actively participate in new product ideation, assess emerging ingredients and technologies, and lead clinical research strategies that generate new evidence for product claims and messaging, contributing directly to Abbott’s pipeline of science-based nutrition solutions.
- • You will represent Abbott Nutrition at key conferences and AN-sponsored events, engaging KOLs and advancing the company’s scientific reputation in the nutrition space.

- • You will develop advanced skills in cross-functional leadership, scientific storytelling, and evidence-based product development, positioning yourself for continued impact in nutrition science and healthcare innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • B.S. in Nutrition as a foundational qualification for the role.
- • MS and/or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential with 1–2 years of relevant experience; clinical setting experience highly desired.
- • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with global and regional teams, demonstrating initiative and teamwork.
- • Strong interpersonal skills to work constructively with internal and external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders and consumers.
- • Experience in designing and developing clinical studies to generate scientific evidence for product claims.
- • Advanced proficiency in English to support global communication and documentation.
