- • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for a portfolio of 20+ SaaS products serving the public sector and education industries.
- • Improve test coverage across existing applications and identify quality risks in complex codebases.
- • Leverage AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate test generation, refactoring, and coverage analysis.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve test failures spanning application, infrastructure, and data layers to enhance system reliability.
- • Reduce flaky tests and increase stability of CI/CD pipelines to improve developer confidence and deployment frequency.
- • Collaborate with engineering and product teams across multiple technologies to enhance the testability of production systems.
- • Establish scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices that are adopted across multiple products and teams.
- • Work in a Shift Left environment focused on embedding quality early in the software development lifecycle.
- • Apply strong debugging and problem-solving skills to diagnose root causes of test failures and system instability.
- • Contribute to the design and implementation of maintainable, production-quality automated testing solutions using C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.
- • Utilize testing frameworks including xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright to build robust test suites.
- • Ensure test isolation, proper mocking, and adherence to core testing concepts such as unit testing and integration testing.
- • Communicate effectively in English with cross-functional teams and U.S.-based stakeholders to align on quality goals and priorities.
- • Maintain a collaborative mindset while working remotely with a global team of 600+ tech professionals across 25+ countries.
- • Stay current with emerging AI-driven testing practices and demonstrate willingness to learn and apply LLM-based tools for test automation.
- • Support the digital transformation of government and education technology platforms by improving software quality and operational efficiency.
- • Work directly with a client with over 25 years of experience delivering SaaS solutions to public sector organizations, focusing on HR and compliance automation.
- • Contribute to projects that streamline the employee lifecycle—from hiring to retirement—enabling organizations to deliver greater value to their communities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong programming skills in C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java
- • Experience developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests
- • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright
- • Solid understanding of testing concepts including unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation
- • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- • Experience working in Shift Left and quality-focused engineering environments
