- • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for a portfolio of 20+ SaaS products used in the public sector and education.
- • Improve test coverage across existing applications and identify quality risks in complex codebases.
- • Leverage AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate test generation, refactoring, and coverage analysis.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve test failures spanning application, infrastructure, and data layers to enhance system reliability.
- • Reduce flaky tests and increase stability of CI/CD pipelines to improve developer confidence and deployment frequency.
- • Collaborate with engineering and product teams across multiple technologies to enhance the testability of production systems.
- • Establish scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices that are adopted across multiple products and teams.
- • Work in a Shift Left environment focused on embedding quality early in the software development lifecycle.
- • Apply strong debugging and problem-solving skills to diagnose root causes of test failures and system instability.
- • Use programming languages including C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java to build production-quality automated tests.
- • Utilize testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright to implement and maintain test suites.
- • Ensure test isolation, mocking, and proper test design principles are consistently applied across all test automation efforts.
- • Communicate effectively in English with U.S.-based product and engineering teams to align on quality goals and priorities.
- • Maintain a collaborative mindset while working remotely with a global team of 600+ tech professionals across Latin America.
- • Stay current with emerging AI-driven testing practices and demonstrate willingness to learn and apply LLM-based tools for test automation.
- • Contribute to building a high-performing engineering team focused on reliability, scalability, and automation in a GovTech context.
- • Support the modernization of legacy HR and compliance platforms through automated testing and quality assurance initiatives.
- • Work directly with clients who are industry-leading U.S. technology companies serving government and educational institutions.
- • Operate in a results-driven environment where autonomy and ownership of testing outcomes are prioritized over micromanagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong programming skills in C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java
- • Experience developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests
- • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright
- • Solid understanding of testing concepts including unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation
- • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- • Experience working in Shift Left and quality-focused engineering environments
