- • As a Senior SDET II at Optro, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of the company’s award-winning audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform used by over 50% of the Fortune 500. Your work will directly impact product integrity and customer trust by advancing test automation strategies and driving engineering excellence.
- • Day to day, you will own technical components of test frameworks and infrastructure, design and maintain automation for web applications using Playwright or Cypress, develop synthetic data and generative AI strategies, mentor junior SDETs, collaborate with platform and product teams, and research emerging testing methodologies to continuously improve testability and defect detection.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern test automation, AI-driven testing ecosystems, and cloud-based SaaS architectures while gaining leadership experience in shaping technical roadmaps and influencing product design for testability and resilience.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (CS or EE) or equivalent experience
- • 9+ years proven work experience in Software Development in Test
- • 4+ years of experience using Playwright or Cypress required
- • 4+ years of experience coding with JavaScript and/or TypeScript (preferred)
- • Experience building infra-as-code automation technologies like Terraform, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
- • Experience with testing web applications on AWS, Azure, or other Cloud services
