- • Senior Security Engineer (Firewall) role focused on designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto and Checkpoint (Cloud) firewall configurations, Prisma Access deployment, and centralized firewall management using Strata Cloud Manager and Panorama to secure enterprise networks and support GuidePoint Security’s mission of minimizing risk for Fortune 500 and government clients.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include processing firewall change requests, troubleshooting connectivity and policy issues, optimizing firewall rules, configuring Prisma Access for secure remote access, managing centralized firewall platforms, and collaborating with network and security teams on infrastructure projects.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of Network Security experience with enterprise network background preferred
- • Strong/Expert Level Palo Alto and Checkpoint (Cloud) firewall configuration and engineering experience
- • Hands-on experience with Prisma Access configuration and deployment
- • User experience with Palo Alto Networks Panorama for centralized management
- • Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) or higher certification
- • Strong Routing and Switching knowledge with firewall integration
