- • Own the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions that power the digital backbone of Fortune-500 and high-growth scale-ups across EMEA. You will translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable code that runs on the Now Platform and integrates with AWS, GCP, Azure, Jenkins, GitHub, and modern QA stacks.
- • Architect and deliver custom ITOM, ITAM, ITSM, DevOps, and SecOps modules that reduce incident MTTR by up to 40 % and cut manual effort through intelligent automation. Your work will directly influence how global teams observe, secure, and continuously deliver software.
- • Build rock-solid integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and Flow Designer to connect ServiceNow with Datadog, cloud-native monitoring, and third-party CMDBs. You will ensure data consistency, security, and real-time event correlation across hybrid environments.
- • Write clean, testable JavaScript—business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, and UI scripts—while enforcing coding standards and peer-review practices. You will champion unit-test coverage above 80 % and maintain CI/CD pipelines that deploy updates in minutes, not days.
- • Partner directly with customer stakeholders—from C-suite to SRE teams—in requirements workshops, sprint reviews, and validation sessions. You will translate technical trade-offs into business value, ensuring every story delivered maps to measurable KPIs.
- • Troubleshoot and optimize configuration and scripting issues across multi-node instances, leveraging ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Datadog APM to pinpoint bottlenecks before users feel them.
- • Contribute to our internal IP library by packaging reusable spokes, scoped apps, and Terraform modules that accelerate future engagements and elevate RapDev’s reputation as the leading DevOps integrator in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- • Act as a mentor to junior developers and customer admins, running lunch-and-learns on advanced scripting techniques, cloud-native discovery patterns, and AIOps best practices.
- • Stay ahead of the curve—evaluate new ServiceNow releases, explore AI-driven operations, and prototype integrations with emerging observability tools—then feed insights back into our delivery playbook.
- • Balance multiple concurrent projects with precision, using Agile ceremonies and clear written updates to keep distributed teams aligned and customers confident.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- • Proven hands-on development in JavaScript and the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, or DevOps modules)
- • Demonstrated success integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP, or MID Server
- • Nice-to-have: deep expertise in Cloud-Native Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, or AIOps implementations
- • Nice-to-have: experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure services and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
