- • Support NIH projects by ensuring quality, reliability, and usability of ServiceNow-based ITSM solutions through functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow enhancements, releases, update sets, and platform upgrades.
- • Use ServiceNow Agile and related tools to track testing progress, defects, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics across ServiceNow delivery work.
- • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to identify test scenarios, risks, and impacts to ITSM workflows.
- • Review user stories and acceptance criteria to create traceable test scenarios and scripts for ServiceNow enhancements.
- • Perform testing on ServiceNow ITSM modules including incident, request, problem, and change management workflows aligned with ITIL processes.
- • Partner with developers and platform administrators to troubleshoot issues, validate fixes, and support root-cause analysis for ServiceNow defects.
- • Execute test cases, document defects with clear reproduction steps, and collaborate with developers on bug fixes and change requests.
- • Develop and maintain automated test suites using ServiceNow ATF, Playwright, or other testing tools for regression and release validation.
- • Support testing for ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to confirm stability across ITSM processes.
- • Advise on and advocate for rigorous QA processes and documentation standards within project teams and the organization.
- • Conduct demos or training sessions to support successful project execution and stakeholder understanding.
- • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
- • Ensure all testing activities comply with federal client requirements and maintain high standards of documentation and traceability.
- • Work in an Agile delivery environment using user stories, sprint cycles, and defect tracking tools to support iterative development.
- • Validate API and integration points within ServiceNow ITSM solutions to ensure end-to-end system functionality.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific/technical discipline
- • 6+ years of QA experience testing web-based applications, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- • 2+ years in testing automation tools, specifically Playwright or Selenium
- • 3+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments with user stories, sprint ceremonies, and defect tracking tools
- • 1+ years of hands-on experience testing or supporting ServiceNow-based ITSM solutions and workflows
- • 1+ years of experience with API and integration testing
- • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and reside in the U.S. with authorization to work in the U.S.
- • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance with the U.S. government
