- • Senior Shopify Integration Engineer (Contract) role at Tech Holding LLC, a full-service consulting firm focused on delivering predictable outcomes and high-quality solutions through deep expertise, integrity, transparency, and dependability. This position is critical for bridging a custom React-based Product Studio with a Shopify Plus storefront for a luxury fashion brand, ensuring a seamless, premium user experience from design to checkout.
- • The role involves leading the technical integration of a bespoke 2D product customizer into a Shopify Plus environment, acting as the technical bridge between the custom design interface and Shopify’s e-commerce engine to enable real-time customization, pricing, and order fulfillment for high-end clients.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the iframe architecture to integrate a standalone React application into Shopify Liquid, ensuring smooth communication between environments; implementing a dynamic pricing engine that calculates real-time costs based on user selections (fabrics, patches, hardware); configuring the 'Add to Cart' flow to capture custom design metadata and generate 2D thumbnails as line-item properties; building or configuring backend services via Webhooks to dispatch design briefs and high-resolution assets to production teams post-order; and optimizing performance and UX for mobile responsiveness while maintaining the luxury brand’s premium feel.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Shopify Plus advanced customization, master complex frontend-backend integration patterns using postMessage and Webhooks, and gain hands-on experience in luxury e-commerce workflows — positioning you as a specialist in high-ticket, made-to-order retail technology solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Extensive experience with Shopify Plus, Custom Apps, and Storefront/Admin APIs
- • Strong proficiency in React.js and experience with CSS-in-JS or Tailwind for visual consistency
- • Expert knowledge of postMessage API for secure communication between React customizer and Shopify parent theme
- • Familiarity with dynamic image handling, canvas exports, or 2D layering logic for design previews
- • Ability to modify Shopify Liquid themes without breaking site-wide styles
- • Deep understanding of HMAC validation and secure API proxying to protect custom pricing logic
