- • Design and own the end-to-end Azure infrastructure architecture for Tilt’s APAC lending operations in the Philippines, India, and beyond, including compute, networking, storage, identity, containerization, and application hosting.
- • Establish and enforce infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices that serve as the foundational blueprint for APAC regional systems.
- • Own cross-region connectivity between APAC cloud environments and local partners and HQ, managing site-to-site VPN tunnels, IP allow-listing, CDN custom domains, DNS configurations, and TLS certificate management.
- • Lead and execute infrastructure migration programs across cloud environments, including the safe and compliant transfer of sensitive customer data.
- • Drive the APAC side of the PCI-DSS hardening program, ensuring infrastructure meets regulatory requirements through vulnerability scanning, least-privilege access controls, and secret management.
- • Serve as the primary incident responder during APAC business hours, leading calm, methodical incident response, conducting blameless post-mortems, and implementing durable root-cause fixes.
- • Continuously improve platform reliability, deployment pipeline confidence, alert quality, and Azure cost optimization through proactive monitoring and operational refinement.
- • Partner with security and compliance teams to embed PCI-DSS scope, access controls, and secret management into daily infrastructure operations.
- • Raise engineering standards across the team by contributing code, runbooks, architecture decisions, and peer collaboration with US-based Platform engineers.
- • Actively leverage AI tooling — including coding assistants, observability tools, and IaC helpers — to reduce toil, accelerate investigations, and ship more reliable infrastructure.
- • Operate in a follow-the-sun on-call model aligned with APAC business hours, avoiding overnight emergency pages.
- • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform with real, reusable modules and environments — not one-off scripts.
- • Automate operational workflows using scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Azure CLI, with comfort building custom tooling.
- • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, with a habit of automating repetitive tasks.
- • Maintain strong networking expertise: VNet design and peering, firewall rules, DNS resolution, and TLS hygiene for customer-facing endpoints.
- • Work within a regulated fintech environment with awareness of compliance frameworks like PCI-DSS and financial data handling requirements.
- • Contribute to a culture of ownership, independent decision-making, and accountability, where reasoning and tradeoffs are clearly documented and defended.
- • Collaborate with global teams across 14 countries and 12 time zones in a virtual-first environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure roles with genuine ownership of critical production systems
- • Strong infrastructure-as-code proficiency with Terraform (real modules and environments, not one-off scripts)
- • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, identity, containerization)
- • Proven ability to lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems for production outages
- • Fluency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Azure CLI
- • Experience working in regulated environments with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS
