📋 Description

• The Senior Social Media Manager will serve as the lead expert for Unity’s global social presence, bridging high-level brand goals with sophisticated channel execution to drive a unified strategy across organic storytelling, paid amplification, and executive communications.
• Day to day, the role involves owning the prioritization and performance of a comprehensive social portfolio, applying expert knowledge of platform algorithms and audience behaviors to optimize content for reach and engagement, designing paid/boosting frameworks to amplify critical stories, managing the end-to-end social strategy for executive leadership (VP+), collaborating across business units to align social initiatives with cross-company projects, and improving operational efficiency by reducing complexity in workflows and anticipating roadblocks.
• The role sits within Unity’s Global Communications team, supporting a company that is the world’s leading game engine, powering play for over 3 billion consumers monthly and enabling industries like automotive, healthcare, and manufacturing to design and simulate in 3D.
• The individual will develop mastery in strategic social media leadership, gain influence in shaping executive digital voices, refine expertise in integrating paid and organic strategies, and build leadership capabilities through mentoring and improving team dynamics and workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in social media strategy, communications, or digital marketing with a proven track record managing complex portfolios for global brands
• Demonstrated ability to navigate between tactical execution and strategic vision, ensuring both are reflected in final outputs
• Deep technical knowledge of social platforms, especially the interplay between organic content and paid growth strategies
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Experience mentoring others and identifying opportunities to develop team capabilities and improve workflow dynamics
• Hands-on experience in short-form video production, design, or copywriting to prototype or refine social-first assets (nice-to-have)
• Deep understanding of the gaming, ad tech, or real-time 3D technology landscape (nice-to-have)
