- • As a Senior Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of healthcare software solutions that support critical processes for health insurers in Germany, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the evolution of enterprise architecture, creating business cases and release plans for senior management, collaborating with business units to embed technical expertise into product concepts, defining IT strategy, ensuring product functionality and process improvements, participating in cross-functional development teams as a technical advisor, monitoring technological trends, contributing to R&D projects, and mentoring junior architects and business analysts.
- • You will join Health System Services (HSS), a leading German healthcare technology provider founded in 1990 with around 170 employees in Dortmund, specializing in approval and billing management, software development and delivery, and digitalization and archiving services for health insurers.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise architecture and healthcare IT systems, influence strategic technology decisions, lead innovation initiatives, and develop leadership and mentoring skills while working with modern technologies in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- • At least 5 years of experience in software or product development with a focus on architecture
- • Experience in IT consulting or project management
- • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, business information modeling, and system design
- • Ability to link technology with business strategy and apply advisory competencies
- • Broad knowledge of current technologies, tools, and methods in software development
- • Fluent German language skills (minimum B2) in speaking and writing
