- • Join the Client Tax (TaxCust) team to maintain and enhance the enterprise brokerage tax form collection and reporting system that serves clients globally.
- • Maintain and improve Oracle data models and XML schemas that form the foundation of the tax data architecture.
- • Develop, debug, and optimize Java-based processing and reporting programs that drive core tax workflows.
- • Extract precise technical requirements from business specifications to guide system enhancements and new feature development.
- • Plan and execute end-to-end improvements across the full technology stack, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory needs.
- • Analyze and resolve production incidents to ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance for mission-critical tax operations.
- • Identify and address resource usage bottlenecks and scalability limitations in current systems to support growing client volumes.
- • Lead the transition from legacy bulk processing models to a modern event-based processing architecture to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax systems comply with evolving US and international reporting standards.
- • Maintain a detail-oriented, quality-focused approach to software engineering, prioritizing robustness, maintainability, and clean code practices.
- • Contribute to the continuous evolution of a core enterprise platform that directly impacts client compliance, regulatory reporting, and operational integrity.
- • Participate in hybrid work model with three days per week in the Greenwich, CT office and two days remote.

- • Strong database knowledge and experience, including data modeling and design
- • Experience working with large-scale data repositories
- • Strong object-oriented software development skills, with hands-on experience in Java, Spring, and REST APIs
- • Demonstrated ability to extract technical specifications from business requirements
- • Proven ability to plan, implement, and lead complex software projects from inception to delivery
- • Detail-oriented and quality-focused mindset with a commitment to engineering excellence
