📋 Description

• Senior Software Developer (Full-Stack) role at Koho Financial Inc., a mission-driven fintech company focused on financially empowering Canadians through transparent, fee-free financial products.
• Design and build scalable backend services in Go with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, implement event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ, and own production systems end-to-end while developing exceptional user experiences across mobile (Angular/Ionic), web (React), and admin tools.
• Join a remote-first, high-trust engineering team that values autonomy, clarity, and bold thinking, working to eliminate frontend/backend handoffs by owning full-stack feature delivery from UI to database.
• Grow as a full-stack developer by expanding frontend skills in React and Angular, introducing modern patterns and tools across the stack, and optimizing end-to-end user experience through deep system understanding.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep backend expertise in Go, PostgreSQL, and AWS with proven experience building scalable, high-performance production systems
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals and eagerness to work with React and Angular to expand frontend skills
• Experience with distributed systems concepts including event-driven architecture, caching, and observability to build resilient, monitored services
• Collaborative and growth-minded mindset with a desire to work outside comfort zone and help others develop frontend skills
