📋 Description
- • Develop backend services supporting virtual ECUs, simulation orchestration, and model execution for GM’s virtual development environments.
- • Build tools for Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) workflows including scenario execution, data capture, and automation pipelines.
- • Integrate AI/ML components into simulation and validation pipelines to enhance predictive modeling and testing accuracy.
- • Design and implement APIs for simulation control, artifact management, and system orchestration across distributed environments.
- • Optimize performance of compute-intensive simulation workloads to ensure scalability and real-time responsiveness.
- • Collaborate with DevOps and simulation engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and infrastructure.
- • Contribute to CI/CD workflows specifically tailored for simulation and AI-driven testing components.
- • Work with databases to store, manage, and retrieve simulation metadata and results for analysis and traceability.
- • Utilize CLI-based architecture for designing and deploying simulation tools and automation scripts.
- • Apply MCP-based architecture principles in the design of AI-enabled simulation tools and workflows.
- • Support the development of microservices-based architectures for simulation orchestration and distributed computing.
- • Tune performance of AI and simulation pipelines to meet automotive validation requirements and latency constraints.
- • Leverage knowledge of cloud services and distributed systems to scale simulation environments across hybrid infrastructure.
- • Apply automotive domain expertise in data modeling and simulation context to align software solutions with vehicle development needs.
- • Engage with ontology-based engineering frameworks and design patterns (OWL, RDF, SPARQL) to structure simulation knowledge and reasoning systems.
- • Participate in cross-functional teams to translate simulation requirements into robust, maintainable software solutions.
- • Ensure all developed systems comply with GM’s standards for safety, reliability, and traceability in virtual validation environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- • 7+ years of relevant experience in software development, simulation, or embedded systems
- • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, C#, or Java
- • Experience with simulation or virtualization (vECUs, FMUs, SIL)
- • Understanding of cloud services and distributed systems
- • Experience with databases for simulation metadata and results
