- • Senior Software Engineer at Saris AI Inc., a San Francisco & Montreal-based applied AI startup building the future of work in the banking industry by tackling a $100 billion/year problem with multi-turn AI agentic systems.
- • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance practical AI-powered software solutions for fintech; own project timelines by managing priorities and delivering high-quality features; drive product and business decisions as a core contributor shaping technical foundation and strategic direction; participate in and foster best practices including code reviews and testing.
- • Join a core engineering team of deeply technical builders in an early-stage, ambiguous environment where you’ll design clean, lasting systems and have outsized impact early; work alongside repeat YC founders and Tier 1 VC-backed leaders scaling live, revenue-generating AI agents in production.
- • Gain experience solving high-impact automation problems requiring long-context reasoning, tool orchestration across legacy systems, and strict compliance loops; grow your expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and AI-integrated software while mentoring teams and shaping product direction in a fast-scaling startup.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- • Demonstrated backend/fullstack engineering experience, ideally in SaaS with high-impact projects
- • Deep experience with Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), TypeScript (React), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- • Strong experience designing, building, and scaling distributed systems
- • Strong background in relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- • API design expertise (REST, GraphQL) and deployment know-how
