📋 Description
- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Nelnet Business Services, you will design, create, maintain, audit, and improve software applications that support payment technology, education services, and learning management solutions for over 1,300 higher education institutions, 11,500 K-12 schools, and 3,500 churches globally.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include researching, designing, implementing, and managing software applications based on user requirements; writing, testing, and implementing efficient code; maintaining and developing existing applications; working within an Agile environment to respond to change; providing guidance and mentoring to other engineers; and advocating for continuous improvement and team collaboration.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern software engineering practices, gain hands-on experience with AI model deployment in AWS Bedrock, develop custom MCP and API connectors, and grow as a technical leader by mentoring junior engineers and influencing team direction.
