- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Surglobal Inc., you will build and maintain scalable software solutions that support financial operations, payment workflows, and compliance-related systems, playing a critical role in ensuring the reliability and security of core financial infrastructure.
- • You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js, build and support full-stack applications with React and Next.js, contribute to architecture decisions and data modeling, and participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and deployment strategies while troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- • You will collaborate with distributed engineering and product teams in a remote-first environment, mentor junior engineers, and support engineering best practices across the team, contributing to technical discussions and platform improvements.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in scalable backend systems, financial technology, and cloud-native architectures, while gaining leadership experience through mentoring and contributing to technical direction in a high-impact, globally distributed team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- • Professional experience with React and Next.js
- • Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend architectures
- • Hands-on experience with relational databases and data modeling
- • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and production deployments
- • Professional experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- • C1 level English or equivalent
- • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
