📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications across the full stack, balancing frontend and backend responsibilities.
• Build reusable UI components and libraries with a strong focus on user experience and attention to detail.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Contribute to architectural decisions within the team, advocating for clean architecture, thoughtful design, and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Participate in code reviews and actively support the technical growth and mentorship of peers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, estimate work, and deliver project objectives on time.
• Identify and advocate for the resolution of technical debt, balancing development velocity with long-term code quality.
• Implement responsive, mobile-first web applications that perform reliably across devices and network conditions.
• Apply strong software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices to all development work.
• Work with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and proficiently use TypeScript for type-safe development.
• Design and implement solutions for complex systems including authentication flows and ad delivery networks.
• Utilize monorepo tooling and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to structure scalable codebases.
• Align technical initiatives with business goals through clear communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Maintain a high ownership mindset, driving results with creativity and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage in hack-a-thons and team-building events as part of FloSports’ culture of innovation and camaraderie.
• Contribute to a blind recruiting process that supports objective, inclusive hiring decisions and fosters a diverse workplace.
• Participate in annual all-hands events hosted in Austin, Texas, to strengthen team cohesion and company alignment.
• Help elevate underserved sports communities by building technology that connects athletes, organizers, and fans globally.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar)
• Skilled in Node.js and building high-performance APIs
• Experience with responsive, mobile-first web application development
• Familiarity with monorepo tooling and OOP principles
• Ownership mindset with a drive for results and creative problem-solving
