📋 Description

• • As a Senior Software Engineer on Hopper's Fintech Foundation team, you will design, build, and evolve machine learning systems that power the company's pricing engine, directly impacting revenue, financial risk management, and customer experience across a global partner portfolio including Capital One, Air Canada, and Spirit Airlines.
• • Your day-to-day will involve designing and implementing automated training pipelines, building ETL pipelines with feature engineering, developing and deploying real-time ML pricing solutions to production, monitoring systems for latency and drift, running champion-challenger tests, and collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• • You will join a high-impact, entrepreneurial team at the core of Hopper’s mission to reshape travel for over 100 million monthly active users, working within a B2B fintech division (HTS) that powers travel portals for major global brands and represents more than 75% of the company’s business.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in production ML systems, scalable data architecture, and commercial ML applications while contributing to products that drive significant customer retention and repurchase rates, with opportunities to influence pricing strategies at scale in a fast-growing, well-funded pre-IPO environment.
