- • Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform role at Watershed Technology, Inc., focused on building the AI suite that powers agentic features for enterprise sustainability reporting and decarbonization.
- • Design and build agent infrastructure, observability layers, evals, harnesses, and guardrails to enable reliable, observable AI features on top of sustainability data; collaborate with product and AI engineering teams to define technical strategy and boundaries between autonomous behavior and human oversight.
- • Watershed is a mission-driven startup serving clients like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens with offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City, and remote teams across the US and Europe; culture emphasizes product-building, hard work, and shaping a growing team.
- • Opportunity to lead foundational AI platform work, stay current with state-of-the-art agent infrastructure, write performant and tested code in TypeScript, and contribute to agent experiences across the product while growing technical leadership in a mission-oriented environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in backend, platform, or AI/ML engineering
- • Experience building products and infrastructure that leverage LLMs, embeddings, and other ML technologies
- • Full lifecycle experience building, deploying, and monitoring production systems that depend on LLMs or other ML technologies
- • Experience with model evaluation, agent observability, and making non-deterministic systems reliable
- • Experience building and operating production TypeScript systems
