📋 Description
- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Compa Technologies, you will have real ownership over the software and systems behind the company's core compensation intelligence platform, directly impacting how enterprise teams make data-driven pay decisions.
- • You will own production software across the web app and backend systems, lead architecture decisions, build and improve features alongside Product and Design, drive code reviews, and solve complex problems in data pipelines and user experience for enterprise compensation teams.
- • Compa is a venture-backed AI startup revolutionizing compensation intelligence, serving top enterprises like NVIDIA, Stripe, DoorDash, OpenAI, and Target with real-time data to navigate hiring challenges and AI-driven market shifts.
- • You will deepen your expertise in full-stack development, ML/AI integration, technical leadership, and product impact while working in a collaborative, transparent, and learning-focused engineering culture across Orange County, Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco sites.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional experience shipping production software on a team
- • Deep proficiency in at least one modern web language or framework, and fluency across the stack
- • Successful end-to-end ownership of complex features or systems (design to production)
- • Experience leading technical decisions with trade-off justification
- • Experience driving projects autonomously through ambiguity (scoping to delivery)
- • Experience raising the bar through code review and mentoring
