📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer, Android Growth Squad at Tools for Humanity Corporation in Munich, responsible for owning the full growth surface area in the World App with a primary focus on user incentives, onboarding, notification centre, and growth modalities to drive user acquisition and retention at scale.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include owning Android growth features from concept to release, shipping high-velocity experiments, instrumenting flows for analytics and A/B testing, collaborating with product, backend, design, economics, and data teams, improving codebase testability and modularity through feature flags, debugging performance and reliability issues across diverse Android devices, and ensuring all growth funnels are measurable and optimized.
• The Growth Squad operates at the intersection of product, engineering, and economics, serving millions of users daily as part of World’s mission to build a trusted human network in the age of AI, with close collaboration between Munich and San Francisco teams in a high-intensity, mission-driven environment.
• This role offers the opportunity to directly impact World’s north star metrics by shaping user onboarding, referral systems, and reward mechanisms that drive global scale, while gaining deep expertise in growth engineering, experimentation culture, and cross-functional product delivery in a fast-moving crypto-social-tech hybrid environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Android development experience in Kotlin with a proven track record of shipping user-facing features in production applications.
• Growth engineering mindset: expertise in metrics-driven development, funnel thinking, rapid experimentation, and iteration based on data.
• Experience delivering features end-to-end, from requirements through release and post-launch monitoring, including collaboration with non-engineering stakeholders.
• Familiarity with analytics instrumentation, A/B testing frameworks, and feature flag systems on Android.
• Bias for action and ownership: proactive, self-directed, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to debug and resolve performance and reliability issues across Android device fragmentation, OS versions, and hardware diversity.
