- • Build and lead end-to-end frontend features for Harvey’s AI-powered collaboration platform used by lawyers and legal organizations, including Shared Spaces and future products
- • Design, implement, and iterate on polished, high-performance React + TypeScript interfaces using TailwindCSS with crisp interactions, resilient state management, and robust error handling
- • Architect and evolve reusable UI components and design system patterns to ensure consistency and scalability across Harvey’s enterprise-grade product suite
- • Optimize frontend performance at scale to support complex workflows involving long-running jobs, streaming results, and AI tool-calling integrations
- • Collaborate closely with product designers and backend/infrastructure engineers to shape APIs and user experiences for AI-driven professional workflows
- • Ensure frontend reliability and security UX meets enterprise and regulated industry standards, including compliance with data protection and privacy requirements
- • Participate in design reviews, technical scoping, and launch planning for new features with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance
- • Maintain high standards across all aspects of engineering work, including code quality, documentation, Slack communication, and team collaboration
- • Contribute to a culture of decisiveness, simplicity, and relentless improvement, where no feature is considered finished until it meets the highest bar of quality
- • Work in a hybrid model with 3+ days per week in-person at the Toronto office, contributing to team cohesion and real-time collaboration
- • Own the frontend experience for a product used by 1500+ customers across 60+ countries in a fast-scaling, mission-driven environment
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years (post-BS/MS) of frontend-focused software engineering experience
- • Experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS (specifically Tailwind CSS)
- • Track record of shipping highly intuitive, user-facing products with measurable impact
- • Strong programming skills and foundational Computer Science knowledge
- • Experience working across the stack to deliver end-to-end user features
- • Strong attention to detail and commitment to polished, high-quality UI/UX
