📋 Description
- • Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) role at Found Inc., building tools that automate taxes, accounting, and banking for self-employed Americans, enabling them to focus on their work rather than financial complexity.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include shipping customer-facing features across banking, tax automation, and expense tracking using Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, and TypeScript; working across the stack with backend APIs, data modeling in MySQL and Spanner, and polished frontend experiences; partnering with product and design to ship high-quality features quickly; owning work end-to-end from scoping to monitoring.

- • In this role, you will deepen your full-stack expertise, influence engineering practices across the organization, mentor senior engineers, drive technical initiatives like migrations and platform improvements, and gain experience in FinTech systems with compliance complexity while growing as a technical leader and thought partner.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals
- • Production experience with Ruby on Rails or a comparable framework, and comfort in React/TypeScript on the frontend
- • Experience working with relational databases at scale (MySQL, Spanner, or similar)
- • Track record of working across multiple teams or functions, building relationships and driving alignment
- • Strong communication skills: ability to explain technical decisions clearly to engineers and non-engineers alike
- • High standards for code quality and a habit of leaving things better than you found them
