📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack at Walmart Inc., you will design, develop, implement, and document product features that directly impact customer care agents and millions of Walmart associates worldwide by providing 360° customer/order visibility and integrated communication tools to reduce resolution time and increase customer retention and loyalty.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include building, testing, and deploying scalable solutions using Java and React, collaborating with global engineering teams, engaging with product management to set priorities, and working closely with architects to ensure delivery meets quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) standards within established architectural guidelines.
• You will be part of Walmart Global Tech, a team of software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and service professionals driving innovation at the world’s leading retailer, where one line of code can improve the lives of hundreds of millions of people through tech-empowered, people-led solutions.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack development, cloud architecture, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile (Scrum) methodologies while contributing to large-scale systems that support inclusive digital experiences and accessibility standards like WCAG 2.2 AA, advancing both your technical and professional growth.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience in software engineering; OR 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• 5-10 years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications and platform development.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, specifically Java.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, specifically React.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Good knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology.
