📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack role at Premier Inc. is a critical technical position responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex, scalable applications across the full technology stack, with direct impact on healthcare innovation through data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
• What the person will do day to day:
• Design and implement scalable, accessible UI components using React, Angular, or Vue, optimizing performance and integrating design systems to ensure seamless user experiences across healthcare applications.
• Architect and build REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and data models using Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java, managing relational and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and message queues while integrating with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and data platforms like Databricks.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker/Kubernetes, and deploy to cloud environments, implementing monitoring, logging, and incident response using Grafana and cloud-native observability tools while driving adoption of AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot Enterprise, Claude Code) to accelerate delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and design collaboration, modeling best practices in AI-augmented workflows and fostering team growth in modern full-stack and data-integrated development practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to bridge application development with data platforms and AI/ML services, enabling insight-driven features and automation by leveraging large-scale data pipelines and emerging AI capabilities in environments such as Foundry and Databricks.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of applicable full-stack software engineering experience with proven ability to independently design and deliver complex features across frontend and backend systems.
• Advanced proficiency in React or Angular, including component architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
• Strong backend development skills in Node.js, Python, or .NET, with experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and relational/NoSQL data models (MS SQL or PostgreSQL).
• Demonstrated ownership of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and experience with cloud-native deployment on Azure (App Service, Functions), GCP (Cloud Run), or AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS).
• Proficient use of AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot Enterprise, Claude Code) as a core expectation for personal productivity and team enablement.
• Experience integrating with data platforms such as Databricks or Palantir Foundry to build data-driven applications is preferred, particularly for teams focused on data-integrated product domains.
