  • • Are you a seasoned Full Stack Software Engineer with a passion for building robust, scalable, and high-impact systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your contributions directly fuel the growth of a leading global e-commerce acceleration platform? Pattern, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic cross-dock Warehouse Management System (WMS) team, focusing on the core, foundational components of our "Shelf" platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on mission-critical infrastructure that underpins our entire warehouse operation, from meticulous inventory tracking to the seamless preparation of products for global fulfillment.
  • • As a Senior Software Engineer on the Shelf platform team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our warehouse operations. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying features that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our WMS. This involves tackling complex challenges related to inventory management, order processing, and the intricate logistics required to support hundreds of global brands across more than 60 e-commerce marketplaces. Your work will directly impact the speed and reliability with which we serve our clients, ensuring their products reach customers worldwide with unparalleled efficiency.
  • • The "Shelf" platform is the operational backbone of Pattern's success. It's where data transforms into tangible actions that drive e-commerce growth. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical backend services, robust APIs, and intuitive frontend interfaces that warehouse teams interact with daily. This includes optimizing data flows, implementing new functionalities, and ensuring the system can handle massive volumes of data and transactions with low latency and high availability. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing the performance of systems that manage trillions of data points and sophisticated machine learning models.
  • • You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This cross-functional teamwork is essential for delivering features that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our internal users and external clients. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and champion best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines.
  • • Key responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable microservices, developing efficient database schemas and queries, and building responsive user interfaces. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. A significant part of your role will involve optimizing existing systems for performance and reliability, ensuring our WMS can keep pace with Pattern's rapid growth and evolving business needs.
  • • This role offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a product that is at the forefront of e-commerce innovation. Pattern leverages proprietary technology and AI, fueled by vast amounts of data, to optimize every aspect of e-commerce growth. By joining our team, you will be part of a company recognized for its rapid growth and commitment to employee experience, being named one of Newsweek’s Global Most Loved Workplaces®.
  • • We are looking for engineers who are not just coders, but problem-solvers who are obsessed with data, partner success, taking action, and changing the game. If you possess a strong technical foundation, a proactive attitude, and a desire to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply. This is an opportunity to grow your career within one of the fastest-growing companies headquartered in the US and contribute to a truly transformative e-commerce solution.
