• • You will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing automation systems designed to manage complex insurance servicing tasks. This includes end-to-end processes such as policy endorsements, cancellations, document uploads, and reinstatements, as well as developing strategies to reduce policy cancellations and improve renewal rates, ensuring our users always have optimal coverage.

• • You will be instrumental in composing sophisticated backend business logic that powers our automation, meticulously adhering to the intricate rules and regulations of various insurance carriers.
• • Design and implement robust backend pipelines responsible for synchronizing customer policy data, delivering critical timely alerts, and enabling seamless re-shopping experiences for our users.
• • Contribute to the optimization and scaling of our internal tools, akin to an in-house DocuSign for servicing, with the ultimate goal of minimizing agent intervention to near zero, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
• • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data, and Engineering Operations, to proactively identify and address potential churn drivers, ultimately enhancing customer retention and satisfaction.
• • Thrive in a remote-first, global team environment, working asynchronously across different time zones. While meetings are minimal, strong collaboration is maintained through effective use of Asana and Slack, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
• • Take ownership of continuously improving our backend systems, APIs, and microservice architecture, contributing to the robustness, scalability, and maintainability of our platform.
• • Engage in the significant refactoring and rebuilding of major parts of our codebase, simplifying legacy systems and establishing a solid foundation for the next three years of platform growth. Your work will directly shape the future architecture and capabilities of our product.
