📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack | Node.js & React) at Oowlish S.A.S. is a high-impact role focused on building a next-generation mental healthcare platform that directly improves patient outcomes through innovative digital solutions. You will be a core contributor writing production code daily while shaping architecture and technical strategy for a product serving clients across the United States and Europe.
• Your work will combine technical excellence with purpose-driven development, enabling you to tackle complex challenges in a regulated, impact-driven domain while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including Product, Design, and Clinical experts to translate user needs into scalable, reliable software.
• Day to day, you will design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack features using Node.js and React, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment.
• You will participate in architectural discussions, contribute to technical decision-making, and help define system evolution as the platform scales to meet growing user demand and clinical requirements.
• Collaboration is central: you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate clinical workflows into technical specifications, and iterate based on feedback from clinicians and end-users.
• You will write clean, well-documented code, conduct code reviews, implement automated testing, and uphold engineering best practices to ensure system reliability and security in a healthcare context.
• You will troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, safe delivery of features.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in full-stack development using Node.js and React.
• Proven experience building and scaling web applications in production environments, including API design, database integration, and frontend state management.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library) and commitment to writing testable, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
