• • You will be responsible for writing and shipping high-quality code, contributing across the entire codebase to deliver complete features and enhancements. A strong emphasis will be placed on ensuring the demonstrable quality and reliability of our system through comprehensive unit tests, automated integration tests, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and strategic refactoring. Protecting customer privacy through diligent data management and security practices will be paramount in all your work.
• • Beyond individual contributions, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our engineering organization. This involves proactively identifying software quality, performance, and operational issues, as well as any impediments to team-wide efficiency. You will collaborate constructively with the team to address these challenges, actively defining and refining our internal engineering standards and processes, and exerting a positive influence on the team's objectives and tactical execution.
• • Your role will extend to actively contributing to product iteration and development, ensuring Maximus delivers a compelling and impactful experience to its customers. You will be encouraged to generate innovative ideas, thoroughly assess associated options and trade-offs, and understand their direct impact on business growth and customer satisfaction. This will involve working collaboratively across functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product, to translate high-level business and product concepts into robust software designs and successful releases. While not a primary focus, experience or interest in Product & Project Management will be a valuable asset.
