📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and scaling a modern banking platform for startups, where engineers contribute to a product that businesses rely on daily for accounts, cards, expenses, bills, and bookkeeping.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Python and Go, working with GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL databases, and deploying applications via Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform.
• The engineering team at Rho operates in a fast-paced, regulated fintech environment, collaborating across stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable financial infrastructure.
• This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and financial technology while mentoring junior engineers and influencing the technical direction of a mission-driven product.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building web apps and/or services to support a great product
• Experience working in complex stakeholder & regulated environments involving many partners and services
• Proficiency in Python/Go/JS/Ruby/PHP or similar technologies and SQL
• Knowledge of distributed systems including trade-offs made to either support higher load or lower latency within an application
• Experience in a start-up or enterprise within a highly technical market segment, such as AI, security, finance and blockchain, or infrastructure
