📋 Description
- • Senior Software Engineer (Go) role focused on building core gaming infrastructure from the ground up for a Web3, AI, and iGaming technology studio.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and building stateless gameplay workers in Go, constructing tamper-evident ledgers, developing game configuration and verification tooling, creating integration layers for operator partners, building client-facing WebSocket/REST and gRPC services, driving architectural decisions for deterministic and auditable systems, deploying on AWS ECS, and enforcing contract-first development with API tests.
- • Join a small, senior team of engineers and product strategists at Block Labs, a premier technology studio building high-scale, production-grade platforms for next-generation digital products in Web3, AI, and iGaming.

🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of backend engineering with a strong Go track record
- • Experience building and shipping real-money gaming backend systems end to end
- • Deep experience with distributed systems, real-time messaging, and low-latency request paths
- • Fluency with gRPC for service-to-service communication and REST plus WebSockets for client-facing surfaces
- • Comfortable in AWS environments with understanding of underlying infrastructure
- • Strong instincts for reliability, observability, and security in regulated financial contexts
