Senior Software Engineer (Golang) - Remote

📋 Description

• • Architect, build and own mission-critical micro-services in Go that power 2.2 billion daily requests and 2 billion instant notifications across 450+ servers for Fortune 500 brands like Samsung, Nike, IKEA, CNN and Coca-Cola.
• • Design highly-scalable, low-latency APIs that ingest, process and serve more than 100 TB of historical data for AI-driven personalization, ensuring 99.9 % uptime and sub-100 ms response times.
• • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of new features—from white-board architecture sessions and RFC writing through Go implementation, automated testing, containerized deployment on AWS, and post-release monitoring using Prometheus & Grafana.
• • Champion engineering excellence by establishing clean-code standards, comprehensive documentation, rigorous unit/integration tests, and continuous integration pipelines that raise the bar for the entire Istanbul & Ankara product teams.
• • Mentor and pair-program with mid-level and junior engineers, conducting code reviews, brown-bag sessions and Dev-Talks that accelerate their growth in Go, SQL performance tuning, caching strategies and queue-based architectures.
• • Optimize data-heavy workflows that power our AI models: profile 50 M+ daily events, refactor hot paths, introduce Redis caching layers, and tune PostgreSQL queries to cut cost per request by double-digit percentages.
• • Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Customer Success across 27 countries to translate complex marketing requirements into elegant technical solutions that increase CARR beyond the current $200 M.
• • Participate in quarterly 48-hour internal hackathons, propose innovative product ideas, and rapidly prototype new services that could become the next flagship feature on the #1 G2 Leader platform in six categories.
• • Own on-call rotation for your services, respond to incidents with blameless post-mortems, and continuously improve reliability through chaos testing, auto-scaling policies and multi-region failover strategies.
• • Contribute to open-source Go libraries used internally, speak at global tech conferences, and publish blog posts that position Insider as the most socially-progressive and technically-advanced B2B SaaS unicorn.
