• • In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of critical testing activities. You will lead the definition and execution of comprehensive test strategies for intricate, high-impact product areas, including complex cross-system integrations, ensuring end-to-end quality. A significant part of your work will involve architecting, developing, and meticulously maintaining scalable automated test suites for both UI and API layers, leveraging modern tools like Playwright to ensure efficiency and coverage. You will take ownership of API test automation at scale, which includes implementing and validating contract testing, end-to-end integration flows, and rigorous data validation to guarantee data integrity and system consistency. Furthermore, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing performance testing initiatives, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks, validating Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and ensuring the system's reliability and scalability under various load conditions. Your role extends to mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers (L2/L3), fostering their technical growth through code reviews, collaborative pair programming on challenging test scenarios, and sharing your deep knowledge to elevate the entire team's capabilities. You will also champion the adoption and adherence to quality engineering best practices across the organization, promoting principles such as shift-left testing, the test pyramid, and continuous testing integrated seamlessly within CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with engineering leadership to assess release readiness, conduct thorough risk assessments, and define and track key quality metrics that inform product decisions. A proactive approach is essential, as you will be expected to identify existing gaps in tooling, processes, and test coverage, and then lead targeted initiatives to implement effective solutions, thereby continuously improving our testing framework and overall product quality.
