- • Design and implement secure workload isolation and sandboxing mechanisms for user-generated and AI-generated code execution within a cloud-native enterprise platform.
- • Build and enhance Linux-based isolation systems using kernel primitives such as namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, permissions, and access controls.
- • Develop and optimize container runtimes, hypervisors, and virtualization technologies including gVisor, Kata Containers, Firecracker, containerd, CRI-O, and KVM-based platforms.
- • Profile and tune large-scale distributed systems to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks in compute, memory, and I/O operations.
- • Improve networking performance and traffic management by leveraging Linux kernel networking primitives: netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, and network namespaces.
- • Design and evolve internal service communication protocols and infrastructure components to support high-throughput, low-latency orchestration at scale.
- • Evaluate, integrate, and contribute to open-source security and isolation technologies used in enterprise cloud environments.
- • Drive technical projects from initial architecture and requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and production rollout.
- • Debug and resolve complex system-level issues across the stack, from kernel modules to application-layer services.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build sustainable, reusable infrastructure solutions that meet enterprise-grade security and reliability standards.
- • Contribute to the development of distributed data pipelines, ensuring efficient data structuring, querying, and analysis for real-time orchestration.
- • Work with public cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy and optimize isolation systems in multi-tenant environments.
- • Maintain deep expertise in Linux internals, systems programming, and security-focused architecture to ensure robust isolation of untrusted workloads.
- • Apply protocol-level understanding of L2, L3, and L4 networking to diagnose and resolve real-world internet behavior deviations from specifications.
- • Own end-to-end delivery of critical infrastructure components, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across all deployment stages.
- • Work across teams to standardize and elevate system-level solutions, promoting consistency and maintainability across the engineering organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of industry experience in systems engineering or related fields
- • Experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems
- • Systems-level programming expertise in C, Go, or Rust
- • Expertise in L2, L3, and/or L4 networking protocols
- • Good understanding of Linux networking and security primitives
- • Experience with Linux kernel networking components: netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, network namespaces
