- • Senior Software Engineer (MacOS Endpoint) role focused on designing and implementing components of a state-of-the-art system sensor that traces all data movement across applications and files on macOS endpoints, contributing to Cyberhaven’s mission of revolutionizing data protection through AI-enabled data lineage and robust security against insider threats.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include solving challenging performance optimization problems for software monitoring hundreds of thousands of events with minimal endpoint impact, building secure-by-design hardened software that withstands real-world attacks while processing untrusted data, and ensuring highly reliable code that never degrades end-user experience.
- • Cyberhaven is a fast-growing cybersecurity company backed by $250M from top investors including Khosla and Redpoint, with a team composed of experts from industry leaders like CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Meta, and Google, dedicated to transforming data protection through innovative AI-driven technology.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in macOS system-level development, gain hands-on experience with Endpoint Security and Network frameworks, improve skills in performance profiling and optimization using Instruments, and contribute to a high-impact product used by tens of thousands of end-users, positioning you as a key contributor in next-generation endpoint security.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong track record in working with Swift on macOS
- • Experience building system extensions using Endpoint Security framework and Network extensions
- • Prior work on at least one large native application deployed to tens of thousands of end-users
- • Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance of low-level system software using Instruments
- • Experience building endpoint security products such as DLP or EDR applications
- • Proficient in designing and implementing application architecture
