📋 Description
- • Develop effective and efficient software solutions for robotic systems using diverse tech stacks, algorithms, and open-source tools.
- • Work on industry-critical challenges including mobile robot navigation, indoor and outdoor localization, fleet management, mission planning and control, high-performance software testing, manipulators, computer vision, and simulation.
- • Apply modern C++ (C++17 and beyond) and Python to implement robust, scalable, and reusable robotic software components.
- • Utilize ROS and ROS 2 as core frameworks for robotic application development and integration.
- • Collaborate with global engineering teams to design and implement complex technical solutions for customers, R&D initiatives, and internal technology projects.
- • Engage in peer learning and knowledge sharing through internal tech dojo sessions to elevate team capabilities.
- • Contribute high-quality code to open-source projects aligned with robotic and software engineering communities.
- • Ensure adherence to best coding practices focused on readability, maintainability, and system scalability.
- • Work in a bilingual environment requiring fluent communication in both Spanish and English.
- • Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies in robotics and software engineering.
- • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design and prototyping to testing, deployment, and optimization.
- • Integrate and manage robotic systems using Docker for containerization and consistent deployment across environments.
- • Support the development of perception and mapping systems within robotic platforms, where applicable.
- • Foster a culture of empathy, professionalism, and technical excellence within distributed teams.
- • Continuously learn and adapt to new languages, tools, and frameworks as project requirements evolve.
- • Contribute to internal and external technology communities through documentation, code reviews, and open-source participation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience (+2 years) with ROS or ROS 2
- • Strong experience (+2 years) coding with modern C++ (C++17 and beyond) and Python
- • Experience using Docker
- • Degree (BSc., MSc., or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- • Fluency in both Spanish and English
