📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across Vanta’s Trust TPRM product surface, including vendor onboarding, lifecycle management, and monitoring workflows
• Contribute to the vendor data model and core platform abstractions that power TPRM products
• Write clean, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews to uphold engineering quality standards
• Engage in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making within the Vendor Lifecycle or Vendor Monitoring Experience team
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality, customer-facing features with real business impact
• Work on full-stack development using TypeScript/React for front-end and Node.js or similar backend languages to support TPRM functionality
• Shape the evolution of vendor risk management tools used by enterprise security and procurement teams to track, assess, and mitigate third-party risks
• Build and integrate systems that enable continuous monitoring of vendor compliance and security posture
• Participate in the development of features that connect with procurement systems and automate vendor data collection and validation
• Apply AI agents, LLM APIs (such as OpenAI or Anthropic), or eval frameworks where relevant to enhance vendor lifecycle automation and decision-making
• Demonstrate curiosity and responsible use of AI to improve efficiency and impact in engineering workflows
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from concept to production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and usability for enterprise customers
• Maintain and improve the underlying data infrastructure that supports vendor risk assessments and compliance tracking
• Work in a fast-paced environment shipping production-quality web applications with direct impact on customer trust and security outcomes
• Partner cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions that streamline vendor risk management for customers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack or product-focused development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/React (front-end) or a backend language such as Node.js
• Experience building and shipping production-quality web applications in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of databases and REST or GraphQL API design
• Collaborative approach to engineering; ability to partner across product, design, and engineering to deliver results
• Nice to have: experience building with AI agents, LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic), or eval frameworks — especially relevant for Vendor Lifecycle team roles
